XCode - Empty Project builds but App does not launch

The build succeeds but the app is not started nor is the application window shown.
The Examples from The OF examples from the example folder all work. They only difference that can see is that the Debug.app file is red in my case although the build happens without any error. Any Idea what I am doing wrong?
