Folks.
Am just trying to get started - not even sure if the install is correctly complete - though I can see that my Users/me/.config/QtProject and further folders and files within, has successfully been created after having run the install script in Terminal - (after the fact of installing QtCreator)
But now simply trying to open and run the graphics example ofApp.h as per the screenshot in http://openframeworks.cc/ofBook/chapters/setup_and_project_structure.html (it doesnt mention QtCreator, I'm only assuming the header file is the correct file to attempt to run, as per that screenshot, but then no matter what file I try, same result, everything under the Build menu is greyed out (except Run qmake, and Run CMake, neither of which seem to do anything)
I have zero idea why this might be or how to solve. I'm running 10.9.5 OS and so downloading XCode isnt currently an option, plus I really like the look of QtCreator. I'm not very adept at the command line / 'nix stuff and compiling and configuring
I literally know no c++ but the OFBook makes it seem extremely approachable. I did actionscript 3 for many years, my processing is reasonable/half way towards intermediate.
I would dearly love to get a start on but I'm stumped already, yet this is just at the stage of stupid user questions about setting up an IDE for compiling, I haven't even yet gotten to the c++ bit

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
