MSYS2 0.9.3 Issues compiling 3dPrimitivesExample

I've been following the installation page for MSYS2 release 0.9.3, and all went well up to a point - MSYS installed and OF compiled without error. I also managed to compile the 3dPrimitivesExample as suggested, but I can't run it. I tried command line from msys2, but got the following error:

I followed this back to the makefile, and from there to the compile.project.mk and I can't see any problems - the binary is where the run command expects, in the bin subfolder.
So I tried double clicking to run, and a series of dll errors. 2 variations on this, but with different entry points to the same dll

the procedure entry point _ZNKSt7__cxx112basic_stringlcSt11char_traitslcESalcEE4sizeEV could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\msys64\mingw32\bin\libboost_system-mt.dll

and another

the procedure entry point _ZNKSt76locale4nameB5cxx11EV could not be located in the dynamic link library [...]\3dPrimitivesExample\bin\3DPrimitivesExample.exe

and another on mingw32\bin\liblex-2_2.dll

I'm running on 64bit win 10
